Charge the Z-Amplifier (if needed)
- How to Charge: Plug the provided charger into the Z-Amplifier’s charging port until the light turns solid orange.
- Tip: Charge overnight if the light is blinking or solid red, or after a day of use.
Step 1: Check if Charging is Needed
We recommend charging the Z-Amplifier before your first use to ensure it’s fully powered. However, if you turn it on and the light turns green after about 10 seconds, then it’s already charged and ready for use.
Step 2: How to Charge the Z-Amplifier
- Find the charger that came with the Z-Amplifier.
- Plug one end of the charger into a wall outlet.
- Plug the other end into the charging port on the Z-Amplifier (look for a small port labeled “Recharge”).
Step 3: Know When It’s Done Charging
The indicator light on your Z-Amplifier will blink orange while it’s charging. Once it’s fully charged, the light will stop blinking and stay solid orange.
Helpful Tip about Charging Time
The charging time can vary depending on how much battery is left. It may take anywhere from 1 to 14 hours to fully charge.
Tip: If you’re charging it overnight, make sure it’s placed on a safe, flat surface.
Powering On and Adjusting Signal Strength
- How to Turn On: Rotate the power knob clockwise until it clicks and turn up at least 50%. Wait about 10 seconds for the light to turn green, indicating it’s ready.
Step 1: Turn On the Z-Amplifier
- Find the power knob on the Z-Amplifier.
- Rotate the knob clockwise until you feel or hear a “click.” This click means the device is turning on.
- Wait about 10 seconds for the Z-Amplifier to start up. The indicator light will cycle through colors and then turn steady green when it’s fully powered on.
Step 2: Adjust the Signal Strength
- To set the signal strength, turn the knob clockwise to increase strength, or counterclockwise to decrease it.
- Start with a lower setting (50%), especially if you’re new to the device, and adjust as needed for comfort.
Tip: Signal strength might vary depending on your session, so feel free to adjust the knob anytime for the most comfortable experience.
Setting up the Z-Amplifier
- Use the AUX Cord: Plug the 3.5mm AUX audio cord into your phone or tablet and connect it to the Z-Amplifier’s audio input.
- Adapter Note:
- iPhone 15+ and Android: Use a USB-C to AUX adapter (not included).
- iPhone 14 and Older: Use a Lightning to AUX adapter (not included).
- For iPhone Users: Select “Other Device” instead of “Headphones” when prompted to avoid signal filtering.
Step 1: Connect Your Phone or Tablet to the Z-Amplifier
- Find the 3.5mm AUX audio cord that came with your Z-Amplifier.
- Plug one end of this cord into your phone or tablet and the other end into the audio input on the Z-Amplifier.
- Note About Adapters:
- For iPhone 15+ and Android Devices: You’ll need a USB-C to AUX adapter (not included).
- For iPhone 14 and Older: You’ll need a Lightning to AUX adapter (not included).
- Special Instructions for iPhone Users:
- When you plug in your adapter, you may see a message asking which type of device you connected. Choose “Other Device” instead of “Headphones.” Choosing “Headphones” may filter the signal, which can affect how the Z-Amplifier works.
- If You Don’t See a Message: Make sure there are no “hearing security” settings enabled on your iPhone. These settings can sometimes prevent the device from connecting properly. For instructions on how to change the setting click [here].
Step 2: Attach Electrodes
- Find the 2.35mm cord included with the Z-Amplifier.
- Plug one end of this cord into the Z-Amplifier.
- Connect each of the two ends of the cord to an electrode.
Tip: Ensure the electrodes are securely attached for a good connection
Setting up Electrodes
- Connecting Electrodes: Connect the 2.35mm cord to the Z-Amplifier, then connect each end to an electrode.
- Tip: Place electrodes on clean, dry skin on opposite sides of the target area for balanced frequency flow.
1. Positioning the Electrodes
- How to Place: Place the two electrodes on opposite sides of the target area on your body. This means:
- One electrode in front and one in back of the target area, OR
- Diagonally across the body, for example, on opposite sides of the chest or back.
- Why This Works: Placing electrodes like this creates a “pathway” for the frequencies to travel through the area, helping support balance in that part of the body.
2. Tips for Placement
- Use Clean, Dry Skin: Always apply electrodes on skin that is clean and dry to help them stay in place and work effectively.
- Choose Fleshy Areas: Aim to place electrodes on areas with more muscle or flesh, rather than on bony or sensitive spots like the spine or joints.
Example Placement
- For frequency flow through the chest and back, supporting areas like the lymphatic, respiratory, and circulatory systems, try placing:
- One electrode on the right side of your chest (just above the breast).
- The other electrode on the back of your left shoulder.

Using the Z-App and Starting a Session
- Choose a Sequence:
- Open the Z-App, go to “Sequences” via the menu or home screen, and select your sequence.
- Tap Play and set your device volume to 100%.
- Confirm It’s Working:
- The Z-Amplifier’s green light will start blinking.
- You may feel a light tingling sensation from the electrodes, which is normal.
- Tip: If you don’t feel anything around 1000Hz or the light isn’t blinking, refer to the Troubleshooting Guide.
Step 1: Install the Z-App (If You Haven’t Already)
- If you don’t have the Z-App yet, download and install it from your app store (available for iOS and Android).
Step 2: Open the Z-App and Choose a Sequence
- Open the Z-App on your device.
- Find the “Sequences” Section:
- Option 1: Tap the menu icon (three lines or “hamburger” icon) and select “Sequences” from the menu.
- Option 2: Use the navigation blocks on the app’s home screen to go directly to “Sequences.”
- Choose a Sequence: Scroll through the list or tap the magnifying glass icon to search for a specific sequence. Type in the name, select it, and then press the “Play” button to start.
Step 3: Set Your Device Volume to 100%
- Ensure your device’s volume is set to 100% to allow the Z-Amplifier to receive the full signal.
Step 4: Confirm the Session Has Started
- What to Look For:
- The green light on your Z-Amplifier should start blinking when the session is active.
- You may feel a tingling sensation from the electrodes. This is normal, especially with frequencies below 1200Hz.
Note: If you don’t feel any tingling or the green light isn’t blinking, check our Troubleshooting Guide for help.
After Use
- Power Off: Turn the power knob counterclockwise until it clicks off.
- Recharge: If the light is red, recharge overnight to ensure it’s ready for your next session.
Step 1: Power Off the Z-Amplifier
- Turn the power knob counterclockwise until you hear or feel a “click” and the light turns off. This indicated that the device is now powered off.
Step 2: Check if Charging is Needed
- While the Z-Amplifier is powered on, look at the indicator light:
- If the light is blinking red or solid red, the battery is low, and it’s time to recharge.
- Tip: To keep your Z-Amplifier ready for the next session, charge it overnight after each day of use.
How to Recharge
While charging, the indicator light will blink orange and will turn solid orange when fully charged.
Plug the charger into the Z-Amplifier’s charging port and connect it to a power outlet.
SAFETY REMINDERS
Do NOT use if:
- You have a pacemaker or other implanted medical device.
- You are pregnant.
- You are operating machinery during a session.
Stay Hydrated: Drink 10% more water than your daily intake to support your body during use.
